The recent CFI funding announcements seem to have marked the end of the research funding season and the beginning of the slow summer session; when politicians and bureaucrats alike take time to go to the cottage and lounge about, in place of wrestling with key issues of how to increase scientific innovation or how best to assign research priorities. Here at DLCB, on the other hand, we’re always on the ball. Though there are few news items to discuss, we’re keeping our ear to the ground and will be sure to alert you to anything of note going on.
On that note, there has still been no announcement regarding Gary Goodyear’s tenuous future in cabinet.
